Trauma Therapy for Adults Ready to Reclaim Safety, Connection, and Autonomy
Move beyond survival mode toward a life of empowerment and choice.
Does this sound familiar?
You want to feel safe, grounded, and connected — but instead you feel:
Overwhelmed by anxiety and uncertainty
Disconnected from yourself and your relationships
Stuck in survival mode, replaying old trauma or caught in control struggles
Your past trauma, trust issues, or feelings of dissociation are impacting your ability to live fully and with peace. Maybe work feels impossible, relationships feel fragile, or you’re exhausted by constant emotional shifts.
Life doesn’t have to stay this way.
Hi, I’m Sandy Brown, and I can help.
I specialize in helping adults heal from:
Anxiety and/or Depression
Complex trauma
Religious or spiritual abuse
Nervous system dysregulation (fight, flight, freeze, or fawn responses)
Dissociation
Emotional numbness or chronic overfunctioning
You're not broken—you adapted to survive. Together, we’ll gently reconnect you to your body, your voice, and your self.
I specialize in working with adults who are healing from childhood wounds, relational trauma, and deep patterns of self-abandonment. I use a relational, trauma-informed approach that supports you in rebuilding trust with yourself, learning to set boundaries, and feeling more at home in your own skin.
My clients often leave therapy feeling more self-aware, confident, emotionally connected, and capable of creating relationships that truly support them.

How Therapy Works
Get started with an honest, no-pressure conversation.
Book a free 20-minute consultation with me, a trauma therapist supporting clients in-person in Denver and virtually across Colorado. There are no forms to fill out beforehand, no fees to worry about, just space for you to share what’s really going on, ask your questions, and get a feel for how I work.
If it feels like a good fit, we’ll schedule your first session.
From there, we’ll meet regularly — usually weekly — to explore what’s been holding you back, process the pain you’ve carried, and build the tools you need to move forward. Sessions are collaborative, at your pace, and shaped around your story.
Therapy isn’t about “fixing” you — it’s about helping you reconnect with the parts of yourself that have been silenced by trauma, anxiety, or control.
My job is to create a safe, steady place where your healing feels possible, and where you get to decide what freedom looks like for you.
